Gabon Telecom is the incumbent operator in Gabon, gathering FIXED / MOBILE / INTERNET activities within the group. It represents 20,000 fixed customers, 200,000 mobile customers and 5,000 high-speed Internet customers.
Simstream participated in the country’s connection to the SAT3 optical fiber and in the redesign of the access network in Libreville by the introduction of ADSL.
It was asked Simstream to set up:
• The management tools for Value Added Services Department Gabon Telecom teams, responsible of the operation and support,
• Processes and customer relationship management tools for the Sales Department teams of Gabon Telecom.
• Implementation of supervision tools of the national Internet Service Node Gabon Telecom (ISP Gabon): deployment of HP OpenView NNM tools, IT Operations, Cisco Works and HP Customer Views (under SOLARIS),
• Implementation of Customer Support Division Networks and Value-Added Services: specification and service organization, integration of the software suite HP OpenView Service Desk 3.0 (modules Help Desk, Change Management and Service Level Management).
Simstream allowed the installation of a complete supervision solution for server management and has set up a process of Customer Support
