Simstream Group, the network and IT security solutions consulting company with operations based in Dubai (UAE), Paris (France) and Kochin (India) has introduced its first international franchise, in Burundi, East Africa. In order to accelerate international expansion and build brand awareness, the company aims to roll out its franchise business model in various markets, including countries across East Africa.

Simstream UAE has been recognized for its creativity and innovative digital services by French Business Council- Dubai & Northern Emirates (FBC), in the United Arab Emirates, as part of the FBC’s inaugural French creative entrepreneur awards 2016. Simstream UAE was a finalist at the FBC awards, which examined strategy, creativity, influence and performance.

Simstream Management appointed Gael Marronnier as Chairman and Lionel Reina as Group CEO. Mr Marronnier is a founder of Simstream. Mr. Reina, who joined the company in December 2014, previously held senior management positions in Accenture Middle East and Orange Business Services EEMEA, and will lead the business from both regional bases in Dubai and Paris.

Simstream Group has been awarded the contract for satellite network management services by the Bank of Central African States. The central bank’s satellite network will connect 25 sites across six countries. The new contract extends a long-term working relationship between the two parties; Simstream has provided network consulting and security services for the central bank for 14 years in Africa, where the company has built a strong customer base.

First Simstream Franchise was opened in North West of France.

Simstream has built a substantial client portfolio of leading French multinational companies, from telecom to banking and finance, energy, aviation industry and services. The company opened an operation in Dubai to support these clients, as they expanded into the Middle Eastern and African regions.

Simstream reached another milestone on serving over 50 flagship multinational companies.
